The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager you will be supported by the wider clinical leadership team in achieving operational & clinical excellence, as well as engaging and motivating your team members.
As a fundamental member of the leadership team, you will have the ability to establish & build effective relationships ensuring that residents are connected to the local community and have the confidence that they are included within their daily living & clinical care needs.
Alongside your clinical management abilities, you will ensure that staff are educated & delivering each standard on a daily basis.
Summary of Duties:
• Provide clinical guidance to residents & care staff
• Undertake resident assessments & case conferencing
• Review & update resident documentation
• Motivation, training & development of clinical team members
• Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met
Essential Criteria & Skills:
• AHPRA Registered Nurse Registration
• Proven Aged Care leadership capabilities within a team
• Understanding & working knowledge of ACFI processes
• Ability to identify & improve areas for improvement
• Accreditation knowledge & experience
