General Practitioner
Rate: $1400 - 1500 per day + GST if registered
Travel: Return economy flights or fuel receipts reimbursed
Accommodation: Accommodation provided by the practice
Dates:
15th - 26th August 2022 - $1500 per day - 100% supervision of a new GP registrar- $1500.00/day)
Doctor has lots of experience in ED and O&G, but new to GP land. He will be in his first month and needing 100% supervision.
19th - 30th September 2022 - $1400 per day - Doctor will be onsite and some supervision might be asked of the locum, but another locum will be primary supervisor.
17th October - 23rd December 2022
Aboriginal Medical Service – South bank Murray River region, Victoria.
The Practice:
This Aboriginal Medical service has a GP working remotely via telehealth, so will be a solo GP role in the clinic. There is a registered nurse / nurse immuniser, aboriginal health practitioner and 1 Aboriginal Health worker. There is a physiotherapist, visiting podiatrist, optometrist, audiologist, mental health nurse (Wed and Fri). This is a bulk billing practice. 20-minute appointments. The medical software used is Communicare.
