The clinic:
You will be working alongside another doctor, 2 RN's, 3 Aboriginal health workers, a practice manager and administration staff.
They run an open clinic Monday to Friday (half an hour is allocated morning and afternoon to checking results/other paperwork), with no on call so your weekends will be free to relax and explore the area.
A range of visiting specialists provide services including an obstetrician, cardiologist, paediatrician, and ophthalmologist. They use Communicare software.
The location:
The clinic is situated in a fascinating historic town in the Pilbara which is an easy 2 hour flight from Perth.
The town has a population of around 300 people and is a popular holiday resort and recreation centre for the region with a caravan park, quality restaurants and boutique accommodation.
The beach is bordered by a coral reef which makes for an environment of calm waters, safe swimming, snorkeling and game fishing.
