General Practitioner Locum

An Aboriginal Medical Service, located in a historical town of NSW, requires a locum General Practitioner on an ongoing basis. 

Dates
 

• Available now – 23 December 
• Ideally minimum 2 - 4 week blocks but please suggest availability 

Rate:
 

• $1800 per day + GST 
• Accommdation, travel and car are provided 

The clinic

This AMS has 4 Doctors at the clinic, 7 nurses, 5 Aboriginal Health
workers plus dental, D & A team, mental health team, Domestic violence
team and NDIS team plus community programmes.
 

The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm with a 60

minutes for lunch.

Accommodation is a self contained 3 bedroom unit, and a vehicle and
flights are also provided. (There are 3 airports located within
reasonable distance)

The Location

This elegant and historic town is a 7 hour drive from Sydney, and just
5 hours to Brisbane. 

The town is located on the river and there are some great walking
tracks in the area.

With a population of around 12,000, there is a hospital located in
town and some great amenities including shops, cafes, restaurant and a
swimming pool. The area is known for it’s local beef growers also.
