Our client works across a range of different settings (homes, community, schools, in-clinic, telehealth) to closely support clients with their day-to-day functioning and capabilities.

 

About the Role: 

As a result of the significant demand for occupational therapy services within Canberra, my client is looking for Speech Pathologists who are motivated to make a difference in people's lives. You will work in a mobile capacity to support clients in achieving their goals. You will attend team meetings and regular professional development sessions in a hub located in Griffith to further develop your clinical capabilities.

 

Summary of Duties:

  • Provide client-driven, evidence-based therapy services to clients across a range of settings – telehealth, mobile and in-clinic based services.
  • Organise client activities to help achieve client goals. 
  • Ability to work alongside other allied health professionals to aid in treatment planning, monitoring, and achieving patient goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Write support letters and NDIS reports.

 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • SPA Registration
  • National police check, WWCC, and a drivers’ license is essential
