The company

My client is one of the largest organisations who have multiple sites along the North Coast. We are looking for experienced and caring nurses to join the team on a permanent full time or part time basis.

The role

Working as a registered nurse, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a passion for high quality, holistic care. You will provide guidance and coordinate your team to fulfill resident’s needs. You will be a part of a supportive, diverse team who work together to fulfill the same purpose.

Your duties

• Demonstrating leadership for the care team
• Provide clinical care to residents and complete care plans and assessments
• Follow legislative requirements and the 8 Standards of Care
• Demonstrate influential and responsible communication
• Responsibility for continuing supervision when management absent

Skills and Experience:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Previous clinical experience (aged care desirable)
• Basic life support certificate
• Post graduate qualification specialising in gerontology, palliation or dementia (desirable)
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• High understanding of ACFI
