Rate: $9,000 per 7 day week - 24/7 on call
Dates: 9th - 22nd August 2022
Travel: Return economy flights or fuel receipts reimbursed
Accommodation: Accommodation provided by the practice
Medical Centre:
This Aboriginal Health Service was formed in 1993 to provide health and medical services to the residents of the Wiluna shire and other people from outlying areas, the mining industry, the pastoral stations and tourists visiting our town. Seeing 4-5 per hour. Communicare software used. Solo GP clinic, with 2 registered nurses on site and 1 pharmacist.
On call requirement:
The doctor is On call roster is 24/7. However is 3rd on call. With a registered nurse and paramedic been first points of call.
The call is generally very quiet, with nearly all of the work being done by phone; however, you may be required for about 1 hour per weekend day.
Telstra mobile phone is required. This is an outpatient facility, which means patients cannot stay here for ongoing hospitalisation, also called inpatient care. Patients requiring hospitalisation will be referred to RFDS for transport to a tertiary hospital, usually in Perth.
