Working with a large aged care service within the Central Coast region, NSW alongside another care manager and supportive residential manager.
The role
As a Clinical care manager you will be working collaboratively within the leadership team within this large aged care facility you will play a key role in the leadership, motivation & continuous development your clinical team ensuring resident clinical care needs are met & maintained in line with each individualized care plans & aged care standards.
Being an excellent communicator, you will establish & build effective relationships ensuring that residents & families are comfortable & are involved in care planning & daily living goals.
As a team player you will have the flexibility to work with your clinical team on the floor, supporting with resident needs & staffing levels.
Summary of Duties
Provide clinical guidance to residents & care staff
Undertaking resident assessments & case conferencing
Accurate completion & review of relevant documentation
Motivation, training & development of clinical team members
Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met
Skills and Experience
AHPRA Registered Nurse with experience in a similar position
Previous experience with the increase in bed occupancy
Accreditation knowledge & experience
Ability to identify & improve areas for improvement
Consultative & effective communication skills
