General Practitioner locum

A General Practitioner locum is required to assist at a small medical centre near Rockhampton. 

 

Dates

 

• 23 May - 24 June 2022
• $1800 per day including GST - no on call
• Accommodation, travel and hire car provided 

 

The Clinic 

 

This is a solo GP role, working with 2 nurses and a clinic manager. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm with 15 minute appointments. The software is Best Practice. 

 

This clinic is owned by a Doctor, who owns a larger clinic in Rockhampton. He is currently covering here while they replace their full time GP who moved after many years of service to the community. 

The Location: 

 

This small town has a population of around 4,000 people, and is a mining town in the Central Highlands region of Queensland. It is located 2 hours from the larger region of Rockhampton.
