The role
Working closely within the leadership team to support each manager & their team within multiple aged care services. Due to the nature of this role travel will be required to support each service.
You will provide daily guidance & support across the service’s surrounding the achievement of accreditation standards & quality processes.
You will review, develop & implement improvements within the service delivery to ensure resident care needs are achieved in line with current standards, with the ability to reduce risk whilst achieving clinical indicators.
With the ability to coach & educate staff members on accurate documentation and the identification of changes in care.
Summary of Duties
Day to day oversight & direction of quality processes & practises
Monitoring & reporting of clinical indicators
Ensure accurate completion of relevant documentation
Review & update organisational policies & procedures
Undertaking clinical audits, whilst implementing relevant changes
Skills and Experience
AHPRA Registered Nurse with experience in a quality focused role within aged care
Aged care accreditation knowledge & experience
Experience with audit processes to identify gaps/areas of improvement
Understanding of WHS & risk management
Consultative & effective communication skills
