General Practitioner locum

A General Practitioner locum is required to work at an Aboriginal Medical Service south Queensland, located north west of Brisbane. 

 

Dates: 

 

• 1 August- 23 December 2022
• Blocks available within this period 

 

 

Rate: 

• $1500 per day + GST 
• Accommodation, vehicle and travel provided

 

The clinic: 

 

The hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 8am - 3pm on Friday - lunch is from 12.40pm - 1.40pm each day. 

 

There is currently 1 permanent senior GP, and several long term visiting GP locums that have been visiting for 5 +  years. There are nurses and Aboriginal Health workers on site. 

 

Appointment times: 20 minutes for short appointments, 40 minutes for long appointments. 

 

The medical software is Best Practice.
