The Role

You will be working win a residential aged care facility within the Forbes, Parkes & Cootamundra regions of Central West.

Working as a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for making sure you complete all daily tasks and documentation to the highest of standards. You will need to have strong communication and interpretation skills to communicate with residents, their families, and colleagues to ensure the best personalised care is being provided.

You will need to a very strong interpersonal, empathetic character with a passion for the job you are doing.

 

Summary of Duties

• Providing the best care and assistance to all residents in your care.
• Keeping up to date with candidates’ documentation
• Assess residents & case conferencing
• Adapting to the treatment of each individual resident.
• Making sure compliance documents are maintained

Skills and experience

• AHPRA nurse registration

• Previous aged care registered nurse experience
• Relevant Vaccination’s in line with the QLD Government vaccination policy going forward
• Excellent interpretation and written communication skills
• Understanding & knowledge of the ACFI processes
