The role
As a Clinical manager you will be working collaboratively within the leadership team within a newly commissioned aged care facility you will play a key role in the leadership, motivation & continuous development your clinical team ensuring resident clinical care needs are met & maintained in line with each individualised care plans & aged care standards.
Being an excellent communicator, you will establish & build effective relationships ensuring that residents & families are comfortable & are involved in care planning & daily living goals.
As a team player you will have the flexibility to work with your clinical team on the floor, supporting with resident needs & staffing levels.
Summary of Duties
Provide clinical guidance to residents & care staff
Undertaking resident assessments & case conferencing
Accurate completion of relevant documentation
Review & update resident documentation
Motivation, training & development of clinical team members
Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met
Skills and Experience
AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
Previous experience within similar level position
Previous experience within commissioning of a new service (desirable)
Previous experience with the increase in bed occupancy
Previous experience working within a large aged care facility
Accreditation knowledge & experience
Ability to identify & improve areas for improvement
Consultative & effective communication skills
