About the Company:

Our client is looking for new grad and experienced Speech Pathologists to join their allied health team in Launceston. Our client is a large NDIS provider that offers a range of multidisciplinary services to promote independence. Our client values put patients’ first through collaboration across a team of fun allied health professionals to ensure client-centred therapy achieves patient goals. In doing so, our client empowers community members to live life to their fullest.

 

About the Role

You will work with your preferred caseload (adults, paediatrics, mixed) alongside other allied health professionals to achieve patient goals. The way in which you will deliver your service will be highly flexible, meaning no two days will be the same as you will be working across a range of different settings (e.g., at their home or perhaps even at the park).

 

Summary of Duties:

  • Work in collaboration with the client or family to help achieve therapeutic goals through therapeutic assessments and evidence-based treatments.
  • Formulate treatment plans specific to the goals of the client/family by determining their care needs.
  • Be flexible to work across a range of different settings to help meet the clients needs (e.g., telehealth, mobile, in-clinic).
  • Work in collaboration with other allied health professionals to help achieve client’s goals.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential records.
  • Tailor treatment programs to achieve strong social connection, engagement, and appropriate intervention delivery.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • SPA Membership
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Working With Children’s Check
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Covid-19 Vaccination
