General Practitioner 
Rate: $1500 per day + GST if registered 
Dates: May - 21 October 2022
Travel: Return economy flights
Accommodation: Accommodation provided by the practice 
Hire car provided

The Position:

The service provides full range of services to help address general health and identified Aboriginal health issues such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, poor diet and nutritional health, eye health, ear health, contagious diseases, drug and alcohol-related issues and mental health. You'll be working in a team described as friendly and welcoming
 

• Monday to Friday, 8:45 to 5pm
• Consultation times 20 and 40 minutes 
• Software used is Communicare
• 6 full time nurses, VMO's and allied health support including podiatry, psychology, diabetes educator and dietitian. 
• 12 Consult rooms
• Working alongside another GP

The Location:

Located on the floodplain of the Goulburn River in northern Victoria, Australia, approximately 181 kilometres (112 mi) north-northeast of Melbourne. Fish, boat or canoe the Victoria Park Lake precinct which backs onto the majestic Goulburn River and the open spaces and towering river red gums allow you to really appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
