General Practitioner
Rate: $1800 per day + GST if registered
Dates: June - onwards 2022
Travel: Return economy flights or fuel receipts reimbursed
Accommodation: Accommodation provided by the practice
The Practice:
The role is working with the local Aboriginal Medical Service which is focused on ensuring that their clients' journey through the health system meets their medical, health, social and cultural needs. You would be working in a team with 4 other General Practitioners and will be fully supported by a team of nurses and Aboriginal Health workers. The hours are 8:30 am to 5:00pm and the appointment times are 15 minutes. The software system used in Commincare.
The location:
Located in Northern Western Australia, this town is the gateway to the Pilbara and is famous for its massive resource industry, long trains, big ships and salt piles. But it's just as rich in Indigenous culture, pioneering history and wildlife. It's a great spot for fishing and crabbing, whale watching, and turtle nesting and if you visit during the winter months, you can enjoy the seasonal display of wildflowers.
