Rate: $1500 per day + GST if registered

The practice:
The position is working in the towns Aboriginal Medical Service.  You'll be working as the sole General Practitioner you will be well supported by 3 Registered Nurses and Aboriginal Health workers.  The consult times are 20 minutes and the hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30pm with no -call.  You will be provided self-contained accommodation, a car and return economy flights.

Located in the heart of the South Australian outback, this town has evolved into one of the most unique places . It's a cosmopolitan town with a population of 3,500 and over 45 different nationalities. It is the perfect base to explore the South Australian outback. Take a 4WD day tour to the spectacular Painted Desert and see the colorful hills of red, orange, yellow and white that Mother Nature has taken 80 million years to create. Once the bedrock of an inland sea, this magical area has since eroded into a lunar-like landscape of colours that change over the course of the day. It's particularly stunning at sunrise and sunset. 30 Kilometers north of the town is the The Breakaways Conservation park which are a striking & unique example of arid scenery.
