General Practitioner Locum

An Aboriginal Medical Service in South East Queensland requires a General Practitioner Locum. 

Dates: 

• Available ASAP - 24 June 
• 11 July - 16 September 
• 24-28 October 
• 7 - 18 November 
• 5- 30 December 

Rate: 

• $1400 per day + GST 
• Accommodation, vehicle and travel provided

The clinic: 

This organisation has two clinics located in the area, all Doctors work across both sites. Monday and Friday are spent at one, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are spent at the second clinic. 

One week bookings will not be required to travel across both sites, they will be based at one clinic only.

The hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 8am - 3pm on Friday - lunch is from 12.40pm - 1.40pm each day. 

There is currently 1 permanent senior GP, and several long term visiting GP locums that have been visiting for 5 +  years. There are nurses and Aboriginal Health workers on site. 

Appointment times: 20 minutes for short appointments, 40 minutes for long appointments. 

The medical software is Best Practice. 

The Location:

South Burnett region of Queensland, located approximately 2 - 3 hours from Brisbane.
