About the Role:

As a result of high levels of demand and growth within the Allied Health sector, we are seeking a Physiotherapist. You will be working with elderly clients in Townsville alongside other health professionals. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to travel within a set geographic across the community.

 

Summary of Duties:

• Assess, develop, monitor, and evaluate patient and/or group care plans.
• Administer appropriate adaptive equipment
• Educate and train clients and carers throughout the therapeutic process.
• Goal setting, discharge, and resolution planning with clients.
• Collaborate with other allied health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client records.

 

Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
• Previous experience working within an Aged Care or Acute setting
• Current Australian Drivers Licence and a road worthy vehicle.
