General Practitioner Locum

A medical centre located in the Hinterland region, near the Gold Coast, requires a General Practitioner locum: 

Rate

 

• $1500 per day + GST 
• Accommodation can be provided 
• Travel allowance provided 

Dates:

 

• Available from 16 August - December 2021 
• Happy to look at all blocks of availability 
• Can offer an extended booking also 

The Clinic

 

This medical centre has 6 - 7 FTE Doctors working at the clinic. There are 2 nurses working here every day, with 3 reception staff and a practice manager. 

The centre is bulk billing. The software is Medical Director. The appointment blocks are 10 minutes, however the principle said they have Doctors practicing 10, 15 or 20 minute appointments. If the locum requires 15 min appts, they add in a catch- up appt so you see 4 patients per hour. 

The working hour is an 8 hour day plus lunch break. The clinic is open from 8am - 6pm, so you can start early or later, depending on your preference. 

The clinic is rapidly expanding due to more people relocating to the hinterland, and they require locums to assist with the overflow.
