The role
Multiple opportunities available for dedicated & enthusiastic occupational therapists with experience in Aged Care or Hospital settings – whether you are looking for full time, part-time or short-term contracts. Work for a large Non Profit with opportunities for ongoing professional development and mentorship roles.

Working as part of the allied health support team, you will provide clinical guidance, advice & assessments within-group & individual therapy sessions, ensuring care plans reflect a person-centred approach whilst promoting the independence of every client. 

To include the assessment and review of equipment and room/home modifications to support clients care needs. 
Utilising your ability to work cross-functionally within a multi-disciplined team you will advise & educate allied health assistants & care support staff surrounding client care.
 
Summary of Duties

• Undertake & review client care & equipment assessments
• Support & educate allied health assistants & care workers
• Liaise with other health professionals surrounding client care
• Ensure accurate completion of relevant documentation
• Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met

 
 Skills and Experience

• AHPRA registration 
• Understanding & working knowledge industry standards
• Ability to identify & implement areas of improvement
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills 
• Current drivers’ licence with the flexibility to travel
